Durham Masonic Center Info
Construction of the Durham
Masonic Center is a collaborative effort, between Durham York Rite
Bodies and
Fellowship Lodge # 687, to build a Masonic Center (the only one in the
City of Durham) at the corner of Crutchfield Street and
Duke Street in Durham, NC. Originally conceived in the 80's,
earlier efforts were unsuccessful. Recent events have facilitated
the revival of the vision to construct a Masonic Center on this site,
which is currently owned by Durham York Rite Bodies. Our building
permit and preliminary architectural rendition of the building have been
submitted and received by the City of Durham.
Much help is needed to fund and to bring this endeavor to conclusion.
Thus far, about 30% of the monies necessary to construct the facility
have been raised. Fundraising efforts are currently underway and
all donations are greatly appreciated. Numerous fundraising
events are planned for the near future, many to be held on this
property.
To make a donation/pledge, please contact any lodge
officer listed on this site and request a personal visit or simply
download, print the Pledge Form and mail it to Fellowship Lodge #687.
The Two forms at the left are identical, except that the Fillable Pledge
Form is able to be typed and printed on your computer. The
Fillable Pledge Form is best used by Adobe Reader 7.0 or higher.
You must have Adobe Acrobat Reader to open/use either of the two pledge
forms. If you do not have this, you may obtain/update your version
